Waiting For Spring

March 6 - March 21, 2021

Gallery 25 and Creative Arts Studio opens a new show on March 6 called "Waiting for Spring". Members have created glimpses of birds, spring flowers and rebirth, all in anticipation of warmer weather to come. Located at 11 Railroad Street in New Milford, the Gallery is sponsored by the New Milford Commission on the Arts. The new show will run from March 6 - March 21, 2021. Gallery Hours are Saturday and Sunday 12 - 3pm.

Roberta Ahuja's large pottery bowl is full of blue birds, a welcoming sign of spring. Carolyn Cohen's mixed media painting of "Roots" reminds us of nature's awakening as the days grow longer. Adele Moros "Anticipation" Watercolor on Yupo has us yearning for those days of sunshine and flowers. Maryann Meken-Silvestri glass fused plate dances with flowers is to make us smile. Linda T Hubbard's closeup photos of a Daffodil and Magnolia blossom is a promise of spring to come. And Steve Tanenabaum's bright acrylics bring us joy. Plus there is new jewelry, paintings, photographs, cards and more for customers to enjoy and purchase.
