GALLERY 25 TO CELEBRATE STATEWIDE CONNECTICUT OPEN HOUSE DAY - 2 DAYS!!

On Saturday, June 9, along with more than 200 other organizations and attractions throughout the state, Gallery 25 will participate in the 14th Annual Connecticut Open House Day - a united celebration of the state's fascinating world of art, history, and tourism. Sponsored by the Connecticut Office of Tourism (COT), this celebration across the state is designed to broaden awareness among residents of Connecticut's exceptional cultural and tourism assets.

Saturday will conclude with a reception from 4 to 7 pm introducing the gallery artists' new show entitled,"Our Towns." This show celebrates the beauty of towns in western Connecticut, the uniqueness of the landscape, or historic attractions. Continuing until July 29, "Our Towns" spans several community activities that may be of interest to New Milford residents, visitors, and artists.

On June 9 and 10, New England Watercolor Society members and other artists join Gallery 25 for "Brushes with Nature", a special plein air painting event for artists. Four sites will be featured. Artists are asked to pre-register at Gallery 25 and will be given times and directions to painting sites. Participation is free. Gallery hours are noon to 8 on Saturday, and noon to 5 pm on Sunday.
