Gallery 25 is pleased to host a discussion and demonstration about the process of working with fused glass by award winning glass artist, Maryann Meken-Silvestri. The talk will cover a brief history of fused glass, materials, possibilities and limitations of various types of glass, kiln fusing and a demonstration. The event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be available immediately following.

Ms. Meken-Silvestri is the artist and designer behind Eclectic Glaziery studio in Danbury. A retired public art school teacher with a BS in Art Education and a MS in Education, she has exhibited in galleries, art associations and universities in the US. And her work can be found in private collections and various municipal buildings in North America and Europe.
