Painting with Alcohol Ink

This class covers a variety of techniques for creative play and minor control of inks on YUPO paper. Painting with alcohol inks is delightful and mesmerizing. Any skill level can play.

Instruction includes spontaneous ink flow, brushwork and lifting, ink behavior study, use of different tools, free flow pouring, the introduction of alcohol, masking techniques and compressed air. Students will complete four 3.5 x 2.5 paintings and two 5 x 7 paintings. Two mats will be provided, one small and one large.

Class will run approximately 4 hours and all materials are provided. Cost: $75. Additional white and black mats, alcohol inks, YUPO paper (5 x 7 pads) and Alcohol Ink Starter Kits will be available for purchase after class.
