Great paintings start with strong composition. In this engaging and practical class, Adele Moros breaks down the principles of composition—the foundation of every successful painting, no matter the medium.

Participants will learn how to:
•  Simplify a subject
•  Direct the viewer into the image
•  Move the eye through and around a painting
•  Make strong compositional choices before paint ever hits the surface

This class is a lecture-based with hands-on components. Students should bring a couple of printed photographs (not images on a phone) of subjects they'd like to paint. Be prepared to take notes and create a few small sketches as Adele demonstrates how to analyze and improve compositions.

The class runs 1.5 - 2 hours, depending on class size, and is perfect for painters at any level who want to strengthen their visual storytelling and decision-making.
